• Slark relies on hitting his enemies in lane to steal their stats with Essence Shift, therefore he struggles against ranged heroes both on mid and the safelane.
Enigma
• Slark cannot deal with Demonic Summoning well in lane. • Slark is not very survivable if caught in Black Hole and is one of the best Black Hole targets.

• One of Slark's weaknesses are silences as he relies on he spells, but he can dispel most of them with Dark Pact. Except for Static Storm. • Slark cannot pounce over Kinetic Field. • Slark cannot dispel Glimpse with Dark Pact.
Grimstroke
• One of Slark's weaknesses are silences as he relies on he spells, but he can dispel most of them with Dark Pact. Except for Phantom's Embrace. • When leashed to an ally with Soulbind, he cannot Pounce away or dispel it with Dark Pact.
