How to counter Bane
In lane
In game
- • All of Bane's spells are single-target and Meepo is a few heroes in one.
- • Abaddon can dispel every spell with Aphotic Shield. • Abaddon can use Borrowed Time while in Fiend's Grip or Nightmare to dispel himself.
- • Heroes that can save allies from Fiend's Grip are always good.Saves, 6 in this group
- • Heroes that can cancel his Fiend's Grip from a safe distance are always good.

- • Bane likes to play in the trees, waiting for cores to show up so he can Nightmare them and kill them with his team. Summon Wolves are invisible and can scout him out. • Just a few attacks of Lycan's creeps can destroy Bane. This forces him to buy a save item rather than the usual Aghanim's Scepter. • He can almost never use Fiend's Grip on Lycan because he will die to his creeps.
