- • Medusa's health pool is actually her mana pool due to Mana Shield. With Mana Break and Mana Void, Anti-Mage is essentially Anti-Medusa. • Anti-Mage is a very mobile hero with Blink while Medusa slithers slowly.
- • Medusa is a very survivable hero that relies on long fights. Slark is even better since he can steal all her stats. • Slark is much more mobile. • Dark Pact can dispel Stone Gaze and Gorgon's Grasp. • Slark likes to buy Diffusal Blade which is great against Medusa.
- • Split Shot means Nyx Assassin can easily stun Medusa with Spiked Carapace. • Medusa is a high mana pool hero meaning she is a good target for Mind Flare.
- • Medusa and Sniper are both very immobile turret heroes. However, Sniper has much bigger range.
